Pamela Kufahl, Editor-in-Chief

Pamela KufahlPamela joined the magazine in 2002 and became editor-in-chief in 2004. She helped transition the publication to a news/business franchise and expanded its online products. She was a finalist for two Jesse H. Neal Awards and has won four regional American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE) writing awards and one national ASBPE award. Prior to joining Club Industry, Pamela covered the energy industry for a decade.

Stuart Goldman, Managing Editor

Stuart GoldmanStuart joined the staff in 2007 and covers for-profit and corporate clubs. In 2011, he won the Jesse H. Neal Award, which has been called the “Pulitzer Prize of the business media,” presented by American Business Media. He also has won back-to-back Eddie Awards, presented by Folio Magazine, in 2010 and 2011. Those same years, Stuart won two ASBPE West Regional Gold awards in the news analysis/investigative and individual profile categories. Prior to joining the staff, Stuart compiled more than 10 years of newspaper experience, including time as sports editor at The Emporia (KS) Gazette, where he won numerous awards in the annual Kansas Newspaper Association contest. Stuart's other experience includes sportswriting for The Kansas City Star and other newspapers.

Brittany Keithley, Associate Editor

Brittany KeithleyBrittany joined the Club Industry magazine staff in February 2012. She covers nonprofit fitness facilities as well as military and university fitness facilities. Brittany holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Northwest Missouri State University, Maryville, MO. During her university career, she served as a writer, designer and editor before becoming the editor-in-chief of The Northwest Missourian, an All-American publication. When she isn’t working, Brittany enjoys rock wall climbing and reading, and she is a certified scuba diver.
