Syracuse (NY) University recently fired a developer that had received a 30-year property tax exemption to build a new on-campus fitness center and bookstore. The university made the announcement June 20 to terminate the project with developer Cameron Group LLC, which was granted approval on the 30-year tax exemption in 2012.
