Star Trac Promotes Haris Akhtar to Pacific Northwest Territory Representative

In his new role, Haris will focus on growing Star Trac’s presence in Alaska, Oregon, and Washington by providing comprehensive fitness solutions that include high quality fitness equipment and innovative new products backed by industry-leading customer service to assistant commercial fitness facilities in meeting their individual goals and initiatives.

A veteran of the Star Trac sales team, Haris was an integral part of the recent sales growth as the Inside Sales Representative for the Eastern U.S. Prior to that, he was an Account Coordinator for Star Trac’s North American distributor network, ensuring that equipment was ordered, shipped, and received properly and on time to meet customer expectations at every step of the sales process. His attention to detail, ability to work cross-functionally, and an unwavering commitment to the customer earned him the respect of his colleagues and industry peers.

“Haris brings an enthusiasm and passion to his job that has helped him to grow the Star Trac presence in health clubs and fitness facilities throughout North America from an Inside Sales role,” explains Rick Nelson, Western Regional Sales Manager for Star Trac. “In this new role, he will be out in the field, interacting face-to-face with his customers where his thorough understanding of how to customize Star Trac solutions to help an individual club achieve their goals will help him reach new heights. Prior to joining the Star Trac team, Haris was the Operations Manager and General Manager of AllFit in Florida, helping to grow their installation, service, and sales business during a period of transition and acquisition of smaller service-focused companies.

In addition to a true commitment to fitness in his personal and professional life, Haris is an avid outdoorsman, hiking, biking, and fishing throughout his home state of Oregon, where he resides with his wife and dog.
