CHANHASSEN, MN -- Life Time Fitness has a naming rights partnership with the NBA’s Minnesota Timberwolves.
The practice facility for both the Timberwolves and the Minnesota Lynx of the WNBA has been renamed the Life Time Fitness Training Center.
The Timberwolves’ practice jerseys will bear the Life Time logo, which will also be seen throughout the practice facility, including the basketball court, media backdrops, basket stanchions, chair backs, walls and weight room.
“As a healthy way of life company, Life Time Fitness is far more than a health club or gym,” Bahram Akradi, chairman, president and CEO of Life Time, said in a statement. “Basketball is among the many interest areas we address to meet members’ interests and passions. Within our focus on basketball, we saw a logical opportunity to extend our existing relationship with the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx with a broader set of sponsorship elements.”
