The North American Association of Club Athletic Directors has given its Athletic Director of the Year award to Ed Stoner, the athletic director at the Multnomah Athletic Club (MAC), Portland, OR, the association announced. The award was given at this year's North American Association of Club Athletic Directors’ annual conference in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Stoner has worked at the MAC for four years. During that time, he has overseen two main projects: an aquatics program and renovation of the men’s locker room, both of which were recognized at the conference and won awards for Aquatics Program of the Year and Expansion/Renovation of the Year.

This Athletic Director of the Year is chosen by submissions sent in by club general managers while other awards are selected by peers in the private club industry.
