ROPE TRAINER
As seen on NBC’s “The Biggest Loser,” Marpo Rope Trainers, made by Marpo Kinetics, Livermore, CA, include four unique models that accommodate any space, fitness goal or price point as well as draw new members and increase retention rates. The VMX Rope Trainer is one of the many products in the line. It allows for variable rope height for a wide range of strength and conditioning workouts. Users can pull overhand or underhand at three angles with selectorized resistance to train for strength, endurance or any number of workout combinations. Marpo Rope Trainers offer versatility and member appeal.
ECO-FRIENDLY LOCKERS
Lenox Lockers, manufactured by Bradley Corp., Menomonee Falls, WI, are made of durable, easy-to-clean, high-density polyethylene plastic that is rust and odor resistant. In addition to being durable and easy to clean, Lenox Lockers have received the Indoor Air Quality Certification from the Greenguard Environmental Institute’s certification program, an industry-accepted, third-party testing program for low-emitting products and materials. The lockers are made of resilient, recycled material that is either 30 percent pre-consumer or 100 percent post-consumer content. The lockers are available with quick lead times and a 20-year warranty.
ABDOMINAL ACCESSORY
The TorsoBall, created by Jerry Abbott Enterprises, Holliston, MA, allows users to leverage their body weight in a non-impact workout. In addition to the product’s three-minute core rollout workout for toning and tightening the abdominal muscles, the TorsoBall also can be used for plank-style balance exercises, squats and vertical core twists. After inflation, the product requires no further assembly. It comes with sling-shot rubber cords, a floor mat and an air pump, as well as an instructional manual and DVD.
PILATES EQUIPMENT
The new Fit Reformer from Peak Pilates, Venice, CA, is the only studio-height reformer in its class. Its patented design offers a unique stacking and vertical storing solution, making it a good option for small studios or multi-use facilities. The lightweight Fit Reformer features a locking foot bar, a four-position one-hand gear bar, alignment graphics and an integrated side-split platform that can be fitted with a jump board. Like the rest of the Peak Pilates equipment line, the Fit Reformer can be paired with the Group Reformer training program for a turn-key program that allows the launch of Pilates programming in just six weeks.
