Just days after Gold’s Gym International held its annual convention in Las Vegas, Jim Snow, the company’s CEO, was terminated.
Gold’s Gym has had its share of revolving-door CEOs since 2006. From Gene LaMott to David Schnabel to James Weaver to Snow, the Dallas-based company—run by parent company TRT Holdings, which also owns Omni Hotels, among other investments—is now once again in the position of hiring a new leader.
Gold’s is not alone in the health club industry when it comes to moves at the CEO level this year. Carl Liebert resigned as president and CEO of 24 Hour Fitness in May to take a leadership role with a financial services company. 24 Hour continues its search for a new CEO.
