Boynton Beach, FL — Some 23 aquatics facilities in 12 categories received 2009 National Aquatic Program Awards from The United States Water Fitness Association (USWFA). The awards are designed to encourage the development and recognition of outstanding aquatics programs in both for-profit and nonprofit facilities.
John Spannuth, USWFA president and CEO, says the organization uses information on the facilities' entry form, plus the supporting information they send to do a six- to seven-page evaluation of each program when choosing the winners.
