Those of you who love “Survivor” might just want to head on over to Crunch. The fitness club is hosting a powerful new fitness class loosely based on the TV show. Members complete challenges and compete against one another to be the last one standing at the end of class.
The Fitness Edge, a Connecticut-based chain of six fitness clubs, has bought out its leading competitor, a nearby World Gym, to allow the company room to expand its operations and build its first ever “super club.” The new 30,000-square-foot facility cost around $3 million dollars to build. Additionally, Fitness Edge will be upgrading its Fairfield Club location from a 22,000-square-foot location to 30,000 square feet. The expanded club will feature similar layout and programming as the new “super club.”
Merrill Lynch, a leading financial service firm, chose New York's Plus One Fitness to design, manage and operate an on-site fitness center at its New York headquarters.
