Life Time is certainly not holding back. Today, the Chanhassen, MN-based company announced it is launching its first adult running camp in nearby St. Louis Park, MN, led by Olympic runner Carrie Tollefson. Last week, Life Time turned its attention to kids with a 12-week summer camp offering. Also last week, Life Time announced a partnership with sports and entertainment giant AEG to promote the Amgen Tour of California amateur cycling events.
And don't forget Life Time's annual quest to break the world record for the largest static cycling class. This year's event is March 6 at the Saint Paul River Centre in St. Paul, MN. Last year, Life Time set the record in Minneapolis with 1,052 participants.
CEO Bahram Akradi will once again lead the cycling class, more proof that Akradi (with apologies to Sy Sperling) is not only the clubs' president, he's also a client!
