JCC Association Partners with Club One

NEW YORK -- The national JCC Association announced a deal on Wednesday with Club One Inc., San Francisco, in which the club company will help launch a wellness program at JCCs across the country.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the JCC Association will pay to roll out the wellness program in its 350 member facilities nationwide, the San Francisco Business Times reported.

The wellness program, called “HabitChanger,” is a 42-day program in which members are guided through e-mails and text messages to change unhealthy habits, such as a poor diet and smoking cigarettes.

Club One will provide staff members to launch the program at individual JCCs as part of the deal, though no new permanent staff members will be added to JCC facilities.
