Animal Steroids Sold to Club Members, Investigators Say

SAN FRANCISCO – Investigators in Alameda County, CA, believe a man sold animal steroids disguised as illegal human steroids to people in Bay Area fitness clubs, The San Francisco Chronicle reported.

Larry Brady of Discovery Bay, CA, was arrested on a warrant on May 17. Soon after, Alameda County Sheriff’s Office investigators searched Brady’s car and found a large amount of pharmaceutical tablets, suspected human steroids purchased from India, China and Mexico, and a large amount of what they believe are liquid animal steroids, according to the newspaper.

A sheriff’s department spokesman said that Brady frequented California clubs in Dublin, San Ramon, Livermore and Contra Costa County, and is known to be involved in steroids from his prior criminal history.
