SAN ANTONIO -- Juice bar operator Force Fitness is under investigation by military officials after several dozen bags of credit card receipts were discovered next to a self-storage facility dumpster in Converse, TX.
The receipts contained complete credit card numbers, expiration dates and cardholder signatures, according to KENS5 News in San Antonio.
Force Fitness sells smoothies, protein powders and other supplements in military fitness centers at Fort Sam Houston, Randolph Air Force Base and Fort Hood.
The Fort Sam Houston Provost Marshal and the Army’s Criminal Investigation Command are investigating the matter, which could have potentially put hundreds of soldiers’ personal information at risk.
The receipts were misplaced during a recent move, according to the attorney for Force Fitness, who sent a written statement to the news station.
