Midtown Names New Tennis Directors In Chicago and South Florida

A leader in the tennis and fitness industry, officials with Midtown Athletic Clubs have announced the appointments of new tennis directors for its facilities in Palatine and Willowbrook, Illinois, and Weston, Florida.

Midtown Athletic Club in Weston, FL

Midtown Athletic Club in Weston has announced Laurent Leclerc as Tennis Director. Mr. Leclerc joins Midtown with over 25 years of experience as an accomplished coach, player and executive. As Tennis Director, Leclerc will be responsible for executing a comprehensive tennis program that includes nearly 30 adult teams playing in USTA and Local Leagues, 10-and-Under junior tennis programs, a junior development program including a high performance academy, Cardio Tennis, tournaments, social events, group and private lessons and overseeing a staff of 15 professionals.

Leclerc had most recently co-founded the Win/Win Tennis Management Group, working with several prestigious organizations and clubs including the Quebec Tennis Federation, Club Med Academies, Gulfstream Bath and Tennis, the Maureen Connelly Brinker Tennis Foundation, and the United States Tennis Association (USTA).

Midtown Athletic Club in Palatine, IL

Midtown Athletic Club in Palatine has announced the appointment of Zane Fulton as Tennis Director. Mr. Fulton served in this same capacity at Midtown Athletic Club in Willowbrook since 2009. At Palatine, Fulton will be responsible for executing a comprehensive tennis program including nearly 20 adult USTA and local leagues teams, 10-and-Under junior tennis programs, a junior development program, Cardio Tennis, youth and adult tournaments, social events, group and private lessons, while overseeing a staff of 10 professionals.

Born and raised in Eugene, OR, Fulton attended Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI, where he received a bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing and Professional Tennis Management in 2003. He is certified by the United States Professional Tennis Association.

Midtown Athletic Club in Willowbrook, IL

Randy Paisley has been named Tennis Director at Midtown Athletic Club in Willowbrook. He brings a wealth of experience, which includes over 18 years coaching tennis, developing tennis programs, and tennis club management. Since 2011, Paisley’s time had been spent on the courts at Midtown Athletic Club in Palatine, where he served as one of the club’s most popular tennis coaches, having taught over 30 lessons per week.

Between 1980 and 2011, Paisley taught math and physical education to middle and high school students in Illinois and Tennessee. In Tennessee, he was head varsity tennis coach for several state high school championship tennis teams. Paisley is certified by the USPTA and is an accomplished player who earned college and USTA rankings. He is a graduate of Northern Illinois University, and received a Master’s Degree in Education from Middle Tennessee State University.
