Johnson Health Tech, the Cottage Grove, WI-based manufacturer of Matrix Fitness, Vision Fitness, AFG, Horizon Fitness and the Livestrong line of fitness equipment, announced it had an 8.7 percent growth in global sales in third quarter 2012 compared to the same period last year.
Matrix, the company’s commercial brand, has experienced 12.7 percent growth year-to-date in North America and a 20 percent increase worldwide, the company announced. Johnson Health Tech did not provide specific figures.
“Our Matrix brand continues to experience strong momentum in the commercial market across all of our global subsidiaries,” Mark Zabel, vice president of global marketing for Johnson Health Tech, said in a statement. “Our expanding product portfolio in the cardio and strength segments will contribute to continued growth through the end of the year.
Matrix recently launched the Versa strength line and announced the <strong><a href="http://clubindustry.com/insidemanufacturers/johnson-health-tech-acquires-magnum-fitness-revenue-first-half-2012">acquisition of Magnum Fitness</a></strong>, South Milwaukee, WI. The company also launched the new Ascent Trainer platform, Suspension Elliptical trainer, and ClimbMill in the cardio segment.
