Mayor Lee P. Brown has appointed fitness expert Lee Labrada as Houston's first fitness czar, and together they launched Get Lean Houston!, an ongoing, citywide health and fitness movement designed to help the city forever shed its “fattest city” title (bestowed by Men's Health magazine). Through education, citywide events and the leadership of a fitness czar, Brown and Labrada will encourage Houstonians of all shapes, sizes and ethnicities to get into shape, live healthier lifestyles and work collectively to change the image of Houston from fat to fit.
The Nautilus Group Inc. has filed supplemental proxy materials with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The supplemental filing clarifies certain biographical information regarding Brian R. Cook, chief executive officer, and Rod W. Rice, chief financial officer, treasurer and secretary, in particular their current status as Certified Public Accountants. While both Cook and Rice were previously Certified Public Accountants, they have not participated in continuing education programs to maintain these licenses during their full tenure as executive officers at The Nautilus Group, the company said.
