CINCINNATI, OH — Soon parents will be sweating and babies will be cooing in the Midwest.
StrollerFit, the parent-and-baby workout franchise, is set to expand to Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. StrollerFit classes have been around since 1997 and allow parents to exercise alongside their babies. During classes strollers become portable fitness machines . While singing their children familiar songs such as the “Itsy Bitsy Spider” and the ABCs, group participants jog, lunge, squat and crunch for a workout. Classes are offered in parks, health clubs and malls.
Introductory classes are free and franchise owners range from at-home mothers and families to fitness professionals and health clubs.
