It's time once again to collect the Top 100 club forms. We enjoy putting together this list each year as it's a measure of the growth of our industry and a way to watch the growth of specific clubs as they climb higher on the list.
If you think your fitness facility can break onto or remain on the Top 100 list (based on 2006 revenue), then fill out the form on page 34 and fax it to me at 913-514-6815. The deadline is May 20.
The Top 100 list will appear in the July 2007 issue.
If you can't make it to the International Health, Racquet and Sportclub Association show later this month in San Francisco, check out what you are missing by logging into our blog here: http://blog.fitnessbusinesspro.com/fitnessbusinessproblog/.
We'll be at the show covering as much as the three of us can, including the keynote addresses, the sessions and new products being introduced at the show.
You'll be seeing a new name in the magazine starting this issue. As I noted last month, our former managing editor, Amy Fischbach, is now freelancing for us, which means we have a new managing editor. Stuart Goldman has taken on that role starting with this issue. He has a background in sports reporting for several daily newspapers, where he won several writing awards. He's already been a great addition to our staff.
