GAMBETTOLA, ITALY -- Graziano Verdi will become the CEO of Technogym starting in January 2009, Technogym President Nerio Alessandri announced.
Verdi is currently the president and CEO of Granitifiandre, an Italian company in the ceramic industry. His objective as the new CEO of Technogym will be to create value through global challenges, the achievement of medium and long-term results and to strengthen the company’s position as a leader in the wellness industry, according to a company statement.
“I’m proud to join the Technogym team, which has been able to create such a strong cultural model,” Verdi said in the statement. “Thanks to my passion for sport and physical activity, I can fully share the Technogym social responsibility in spreading wellness as a lifestyle and as an investment in health and prevention.”
