COTTAGE GROVE, WI -- Matrix Fitness products helped Johnson Health Tech Inc. (JHT) achieve a 33.5 percent increase in domestic commercial sales for third quarter 2010, according to the company.
Johnson Health Tech manufactures home and commercial fitness equipment under the brands Matrix Fitness, Vision Fitness, Horizon Fitness and Livestrong Fitness. Worldwide, the company had an increase in home and commercial sales of 20 percent and a North American increase of 26 percent compared to the same period last year.
“Much of our domestic growth can be attributed to a continued investment in sales support, marketing and product development,” Nathan Pyles, president of Johnson Health Tech North America (JHTNA), said in a release from the company.
JHTNA’s 33.5 percent increase in commercial sales was topped by the company’s year-to-date commercial sales, which are up 45.7 percent. Pyles attributes much of JHT’s commercial growth to strong sales for the Matrix Fitness product line, specifically the T7xe treadmill and G7 strength.
“Our concentrated efforts to build the JHT brand portfolio globally and our international business development have continued to yield tremendous growth across all segments and channels, both in North America and worldwide,” stated Mark Zabel, vice president of global marketing for Johnson Health Tech (JHT). “We’ve seen great interest in our new 2010 product launches and are excited to deliver continued innovation for our customers that has positioned JHT for record-breaking growth throughout the end of 2010.”
