Johnson Health Tech Inc. (JHT) had a 53 percent growth worldwide in commercial equipment sales in third quarter 2011 compared to the same period last year, the company announced. JHT is the Cottage Grove, WI-based manufacturer of Matrix Fitness, Vision Fitness, Horizon Fitness and Livestrong Fitness equipment.
JHT’s commercial sales in North America were up by 8 percent for the same period.
“Through our commitment to innovation and quality, as well as our world-class marketing and customer service, we’re able to see continued domestic growth,” Nathan Pyles, president of Johnson Health Tech North America (JHTNA), said in a release.
Year to date in the commercial segment, JHTNA had an increase in sales of 27 percent over the prior year. Pyles equates much of JHT’s ongoing commercial growth to strong sales in the Matrix Fitness line.
The company also had a 23 percent gain in global sales of its retail and commercial equipment during third quarter 2011 compared to the same period last year.
JHT is a private company. It elects to release its percentage of growth but not actual revenue figures.
