FAIRFIELD, CALIF. - The 2nd Annual Navy SEAL Foundation Memorial Challenge returns to the Half Moon Bay Golf Links in Half Moon Bay, CA on May 31, 2015 and HumanX by Harbinger is once again proud to be the official training gear sponsor.
An athletic fundraiser to benefit the Navy SEAL Foundation, the Memorial Challenge is a full day of activity including strength clinics, a CrossFit Hero workout, a Tribute Cup golf tournament, Memorial Ceremony, and Reception.
HumanX will provide 20LB Weight Vests, Pull-up GRIPS and gloves, wrist wraps, lifting straps and CoreFlex weightlifting belts, for athletes participating in the strength and conditioning clinics and in the “Murph” Hero WOD. Known within the CrossFit community as a crushing workout, the “Murph” WOD starts with a 1-mile run followed by 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 air squats, and another 1-mile run. The strength and conditioning clinics and the Memorial Murph Hero WOD will be led by CrossFit Games champion Jason Khalipa and his NorCal CrossFit team.

The “Murph” CrossFit Hero WOD is named in memory of Congressional Medal of Honor recipient Lieutenant Michael P. Murphy. 92 registered athletes and former special operator guests will each represent one of the 92 Fallen Heroes whom the Naval Special Warfare Community has lost in training or combat since September 11, 2001. All event proceeds benefit the Navy SEAL Foundation, which provides immediate and ongoing assistance to the Naval Special Warfare community and their families.
