Thief Sentenced to 16 Months for 24 Hour Fitness Burglary

BAKERSFIELD, CA—The man who was accused of breaking into a locker at a 24 Hour Fitness pleaded no contest to burglary charges and was sentenced to 16 months in jail on Nov. 14. Jaime Villanueva broke into a locker at a 24 Hour Fitness club in Bakersfield, CA, stole a member’s car keys and then broke into the man’s car, according to authorities. The member was able to catch the man and hold him down until police arrived, according to reports.
