LOS ANGELES -- The Sports Club Co. had a decrease in revenue for the first quarter of the year, the Los Angeles-based company announced today.
In first quarter 2010, The Sports Club Co. generated revenue of $13.1 million compared to $14.0 million in first quarter 2009, a decrease of 6.4 percent.
Membership revenue was $9.2 million in first quarter 2010 compared to $9.9 million in first quarter 2009. Revenue from products and services was $3.9 million in first quarter 2010 compared to $4.1 million in first quarter 2009.
The Sports Club Co., which trades on the Pink Sheets, operates and owns luxury sports and fitness companies under the brand name The Sports Club/LA in Los Angeles; Orange County (CA); Beverly Hills, CA; and Rockefeller Center in New York.
