RALEIGH, NC -- Peak Fitness became the largest fitness chain in the Carolinas with the acquisition of the Capital Fitness clubs. The chain is now looking to take the clubs to the next level by upgrading equipment, locker rooms and programming and expanding the facilities to accommodate the increase in memberships. The name of all the Capital Fitness clubs will change to Peak Fitness, says Jeff Stec of Peak Fitness. “Peak Fitness brings a tremendous amount of stability for Capital Fitness in what many consumers consider an unstable market,” he says.
