A former employee of a Memphis, TN-area Life Time Fitness was arrested again as more accusations have come against the man who was charged with aggravated sexual battery of a 6-year-old girl in the club’s day care center.
Anthony Webster was led away in handcuffs after a hearing Tuesday in a Collierville, TN, courtroom. His bond was increased from $1,000 to $50,000 after the Collierville Police Department received another complaint, according to local media reports. More charges may be forthcoming.
Life Time Fitness first suspended Webster when an investigation began in June and fired him after his arrest on July 14. He was later released.
Webster’s attorney had asked either that her client’s bail remain the same or have Webster wear a monitoring device, the Memphis Commercial-Appeal reported. That request was denied.
Webster posted bond on Tuesday afternoon. His next scheduled hearing is Aug. 25.
The charge is a Class B felony, the newspaper reported. Webster will be bound over to the state, where a prosecutor will present his case to a grand jury, if the judge finds probable cause.
