The suspect in the death of a 24 Hour Fitness member in May has been identified and is wanted by police.
Elbert Kyung Ma, 24, is currently out on parole and is considered to be armed and dangerous, according to multiple Los Angeles media outlets. Ma also is believed to have known Brian Lee, the 22-year-old who was stabbed in the parking lot of the 24 Hour club in Buena Park, CA, and later died. Police say the attack was the result of an ongoing dispute between the two over an unpaid debt.
Ma had been convicted of voluntary manslaughter and assault with a firearm before the attack occurred, media outlets report. The day after the attack, Ma was scheduled to meet with his parole officer, but he never showed.
Police fear Ma may leave the country.
