I am proud to announce that this year's Lifetime Achievement Award winner is Curt Beusman. Although trained as a nuclear engineer, Beusman's entrepreneurial spirit led him to start several businesses, including the Saw Mill Club, Mt. Kisco, NY, which he opened in the 1970s.
Beusman is one of the founders of the International Health, Racquet and Sportsclub Association. He developed systems for his business that are now commonplace in the industry.
Beusman will receive the award at the Club Industry show on Oct. 7. Watch for a profile of Beusman in our September issue.
