Next month, our publication begins celebrating 25 years of serving the fitness industry. I've been talking with the founder of the magazine, past publishers and past editors for an article about the history of the magazine that will appear in next month's issue. It's a fascinating story about how entrepreneurial spirit came together with a need in this industry to create a product that keeps expanding and changing as your needs expand and change. That's what this publication is all about: anticipating what you'll need and filling those needs, whether it's through the printed or digital issues, the Web site, Step by Step, the blog, the Club Industry trade shows or Newsbeat, our e-newsletter.

We will kick off our 25th anniversary celebration at this month's Club Industry show. The opening night reception will feature banners and a special slide show of past staff members and people in the industry who made our magazine and past issues of the book. We will also offer 25 giveaways at our booth in the registration area of the exhibit hall. We'd like to thank all the wonderful manufacturers who offered a product to help us celebrate this milestone. The prizes, sponsors and winners will be listed in our blog.
