FLEMINGTON, NJ — HealthQuest of Hunterdon and the Jack Cust Baseball Academy have joined forces to develop, construct and operate the HealthQuest Sports Dome, a 105,000-square-foot indoor sports facility. The dome will completely enclose the existing Astroturf baseball complex and will serve as a winter indoor sports facility for youth and adult leagues as well as speed and agility programs, according to the company.

This unique facility will provide a regulation Little League/Softball Field, a 40 yard × 80 yard multipurpose Astroturf field for lacrosse, field hockey, soccer and flag football, a regulation major league infield with additional outfield area to allow for 7×7 real baseball, and a 40 yard × 50 yard Astroturf speed and agility school.

“The opening of the HealthQuest Sports Dome will allow us to include the children that we had to turn away last year because our leagues and clinics were filled to capacity at that time,” according to Gary Pagliaro, the youth program director of HealthQuest of Hunterdon. “Our program offerings will expand to include winter sessions of boys and girls lacrosse, boys and girls soccer and field hockey, along with the boys and girls baseball and softball programs that will be available [in the dome].”

The inaugural season of the HealthQuest Sports Dome will begin next month, according to the club's management.

“The completion of our dome continues to place HealthQuest and our Baseball Academy as one of the most dynamic sports and fitness facility in the nation,” stated Jack Cust, chairman of HealthQuest of Hunterdon. “Demand for the facility has been extraordinary. Our league play is expected to begin in January and we already have commitments from 600 lacrosse players, 300 soccer players and 750 baseball and softball participants.”
