Equinox Has New Ad Campaign

NEW YORK — Equinox, New York, has launched a new advertising campaign called My Body, My Biography, which tells the stories of people who say working out at Equinox has helped them overcome adversity. The Web site includes profiles, photos and videos of select members as well as user-generated content where anyone can share their own story. Visitors can get to know Equinox members, such as an injured Olympic athlete, a struggling single mother of five and a plane crash survivor, at www.mybodymybiography.com.

Bally Names New CFO

CHICAGO — Steven Barnhart is the new senior vice president and chief financial officer for Bally Total Fitness, Chicago. Barnhart, who will report to Bally CEO Mike Sheehan, will be responsible for overseeing Bally's financial functions, including the finance and accounting, financial analysis, treasury, and purchasing and risk management departments, as well as the IT department.

Snap Promotes Findley

CHANHASSEN, MN — Former Curves President Gary Findley is the new chief operating officer of Snap Fitness, Chanhassen, MN. Findley had been Snap Fitness' senior vice president of franchise sales since joining the company in 2008. As COO, Findley will continue to lead the company's franchise sales development both domestically and internationally.
