elements fitness and BalanceDiet have announced a partnership with California-based Perkville, the highly-touted rewards program co-founded by former Yahoo and Linked-In Senior Project Manager Sunil Saha and Eric Bollman, former Director of User Experience at Yahoo.
Perkville™, operating in sync with the ClubReady management software, features a customizable points-based rewards system, similar to earning airline miles or credit card points which engages members and drives retention.
The Perksville™ team worked with the ClubReady and elements® fitness brands to create a customized and easy to use member experience for earning and receiving rewards based on behaviors and usage. Members will be incentivised for basic behaviors such as checking into the club, posting on Facebook™, and referring friends. elements® and BalanceDiet™ will also offer points for all purchases within the system, including personal training, weight loss plans, supplements and retail.
elements® founder Christopher Palumbo commented, “With this new rewards system, we can better showcase the lifestyle nature of our brands. Important 'good' behaviors, such as generating referrals or buying products are rewarded easily. Members can easily track their accounts, and redeem points for meaningful purchases, such as personal training, branded products, higher-ticket retail items or more. ClubReady software integration makes incorporating this new program a breeze.
“We had researched many programs before making a final selection, and are very pleased with the management and philosophy of Perksville™. We wanted an easy to use solution, which could be integrated into all of our locations worldwide. It was immediately adapted by the club teams and members, who have become very excited about it.”
Perksville has many successful health-club implementations, including Los Angeles-based YogaWorks. “We're proud to work with the best of the best in the fitness industry. It's great when a service can improve business outcomes and encourage exercise at the same time,” commented Sunil Saha, co-founder of Perksville.
Points can also be used by managers at their discretion to help rectify customer or member complaints or for special events. With the points-based system, the elements® brands and elements franchises have created a “currency” to use inside of their locations as well as on online properties. ClubReady Management Software tracks the "master" account and the "rules" for the program in a seamless application.
BalanceDiet™ will also be offering points for purchases on its popular online stores, as well as points as a weight loss incentive to clients.
