Pamela Kufahl, Director of Content and Engagement
Pamela KufahlPamela joined Club Industry in 2002 and became editor-in-chief in 2004. She moved into the position of director of content and engagement in 2014 when the brand went completely digital. At that time, she also began planning and overseeing the conference portion of the brand's annual Club Industry Show. Prior to this, Pamela had helped transition the brand to a news/business orientation. She was a finalist for two Jesse H. Neal Awards and has won several regional American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE) writing awards, one national ASBPE award and a gold Eddie award from FOLIO. Prior to joining Club Industry, Pamela covered the energy industry for a decade. She is an avid exerciser, especially enjoying boxing, kickboxing and strength training. She took up running in early 2016 to train for a half marathon that she will run with TeamQuest4ALS to raise money for ALS research.

Anthony Dominic, Content Producer

Anthony joined Club Industry in September 2016 and covers fitness industry news, in addition to administering the brand’s e-newsletters, social media and sponsored content. Anthony previously worked as an assistant editor at Dispatch Magazines in Columbus, Ohio, where he earned an Excellence in Journalism Award from The Press Club of Cleveland for feature writing. He also won numerous grants and accolades during his tenure as editor-in-chief of The Burr, Kent State University’s student magazine, including a William Randolph Hearst Award. Last year, Anthony was published in “Car Bombs to Cookie Tables,” Belt Publishing's fifth narrative nonfiction anthology about the storied Rust Belt city of Youngstown, Ohio—located just north of where Anthony grew up. Anthony is an avid follower of boxing and basketball, and spends much of his time reading, writing and painting. His latest passion is mountaineering and conquering Colorado’s fourteeners.

Marty joined Club Industry in 2004 as an account manager, moving to the national account manager role in 2007 and the publisher role in 2009. In 2013, Marty became brand manager, overseeing the magazine (which went all digital in 2014) and the Club Industry Show. Marty has a background in military fitness and continues to develop long-term relationships with industry leaders on the manufacturing /service provider side as well as the fitness facility side. Marty is a relocated Yankee from New York, living in Fuquay Varina, North Carolina, with his wife and three children. He is an active member of the community, coaching youth sports for more than 19 years.

Crystal Romberger joined Club Industry in August 2015 as the integrated media account executive. She has more than seven years of experience in the fitness and wellness industry, having worked for Ball Dynamics International, representing FitBALL brand accessories as a manufacturer/supplier. This experience gives her first-hand knowledge to share with Club Industry clients about the value and return companies can gain by exhibiting and advertising with Club Industry. Most recently, Crystal worked in the veterinary market, focusing on canine conditioning and therapy with Hero Orthotics. Crystal is a Colorado resident, enjoying dirt biking, mountain biking, hiking and rafting in the Rockies with her husband, Tim, and dog, Goose.
