Club Industry's Content Producer Eric Stromgren has left the brand to go to graduate school. Anthony Dominic has joined Club Industry as the new content producer, covering health and fitness news and trends, putting together the brand's e-newsletters and handling social media.
As the season changes from summer to fall, the Club Industry staff is experiencing its own change. We have said goodbye to Eric Stromgren, our content producer, who begins graduate school this week, and we have said hello to our new content producer, Anthony Dominic.
Eric brought great online knowledge, reporting and writing skills to our brand for the past year and a half as he covered the news in the fitness industry. He will continue to contribute on a freelance basis to the Club Industry brand. We wish him well in graduate school.
We are excited to see the contributions that Anthony will offer to our brand. Anthony comes to Club Industry with a journalism degree from Kent State University where he served as editor-in-chief of the university's student magazine and where he won several grants and accolades, including a William Randolph Hearst Award. Prior to coming to Club Industry, Anthony worked as an assistant editor at Dispatch Magazines in Columbus, Ohio. While there, he won an Excellence in Journalism Award from the Press Club of Cleveland for feature writing. Anthony is a sports fan, especially of boxing and basketball, and since moving to Colorado, he has taken up mountaineering and conquering Colorado's fourteeners.
Anthony will be covering the fitness and wellness news in the industry for us, and he will be handling our e-newsletters and social media accounts. If you are attending the Club Industry Show next month (Oct. 12-14 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago), then please seek out Anthony to welcome him to our industry, or you can send him a welcome email or an email about news in the industry at email@example.com.
