Have you ever wanted to know what the CEO of a health club company makes? Well, when you're the CEO of a publicly traded company like Life Time Fitness' Bahram Akradi is, those figures are made public.
A few weeks ago, the Minneapolis Star Tribune listed Akradi's total compensation for the year ended Dec. 31, 2009, as $2,284,592. Akradi's base salary was $750,000, compared to a base salary of $926,667 in 2007. As the story notes and as we've reported, Akradi elected to forgo a base salary in 2008 and took all of his compensation in a restricted stock as a sign of confidence in the value of the company.
