Club Industry is going completely digital in 2014, an exciting change that we have been preparing for this past year with a focus on website, mobile application and content development.

In case you haven't already heard, Club Industry is going completely digital in 2014, an exciting change that we have been preparing for this past year. As we have seen more of our readership move online and use mobile devices to access our content, we've been focusing more efforts on releasing a mobile application for Apple and Android devices, developing a more mobile-friendly website as well as posting more stories, videos and photo galleries on our website.

I know some of you love your monthly print magazine and cannot imagine doing without it. But believe me, the same wonderful content is available to you online, and we have some great new content planned for 2014, including Master Class videos from some of the leading consultants in the industry. We also plan to resume and tweak our Executive Insights videos. We will include more trends and analysis stories in new sections of our website that will roll out in January. And we will keep you informed of the content of these videos and website sections through a new monthly e-newsletter.

Much of this content will be for our premium subscribers. But if you do not want to spend the $59 per year to receive this content, we will continue to offer some of our content—in particular our news—free of charge for qualified subscribers. Also free of charge will be our Buyers' Guide, our Step by Step columns, our press releases and content from the vendors in the industry, who will be able to speak directly to you about the topics on which they have great expertise, both on the website and in another new monthly e-newsletter.

The responses we've received from many readers and most advertisers about moving digitally has been…"It's about time!" Most people are aware that media is becoming more digital. The sooner media companies get on board the digital bandwagon, the more chance they have to be the leaders in their markets.

We feel that Club Industry already leads the industry with our award-winning content and breaking news coverage. Now, we will solidify that leadership online.
