Change Is All Around at the Club Industry Show

The Club Industry conference and trade show has a new group of people taking charge as the show heads back to Chicago in October.

As the Club Industry show moves back to Chicago this October, we have a new group of people taking charge of the trade show and conference. Erica Stone has assumed the role of show and sales director. Stone had been overseeing exhibit and retail sales, conference programming, financials, marketing, operations and strategy for Natural Products Expo East, Asia and several other brands within Penton's lifestyle division. She will do the same for Club Industry now.

Stone brings with her Pamela Skaggs as event manager, Sharon Masuda as event marketing coordinator and Nora Simmons as conference and content manager. Laurie Kerr continues in exhibit sales.

We welcome this new group as we prepare for this year's conference and trade show, which is tracking ahead of the show in trade show registrations and exhibit hall booth sales compared to 2011 and 2012. We expect the conference to be bigger and better this year with lots of great seminars, new and returning exhibitors, hands-on activities in Club Live, top-level executives attending the invitation-only CEO Summit, an exciting opening reception, facility tours, a Top 100 club reception, the Lifetime Achievement Award presentation to East Bank Club founder and CEO Daniel Levin, a personal trainer summit and more. Check back to the show site on a regular basis to see what has been added. Conference sessions will be posted this month.
