Anytime Fitness moved into its new world headquarters in Minnesota earlier this month.
The fitness franchise and its 200 employees moved from Hastings, Minnesota, to a 38-acre campus in Woodbury, Minnesota, during the week of April 4. The new building has 80,293 square feet of office space. A grand opening is scheduled for May 25.
The campus is home to Anytime Fitness, parent company Self Esteem Brands and sister franchise Waxing The City.

The new Anytime Fitness headquarters is nestled among 26 acres of wetlands in the eastern suburbs of Minneapolis-St. Paul.
The offices feature a full-size Anytime Fitness gym; hiking, biking and walking trails; two healthy kitchens; standing work stations and conference rooms; outdoor meeting and gathering spaces; and natural and LED lighting.

A 1,200-foot zip line – said to be the longest in Minnesota – will be built on the corporate campus later this year along with a 60-foot climbing wall and cargo rope wall.

"This new headquarters is a physical manifestation of that philosophy. It will help our leaders, staff and franchisees lead healthier lifestyles, while minimizing unnecessary stress. And, ultimately, it will allow us to do an even better job of helping our three million members get to a healthier place."

The new world headquarters features a full-size Anytime Fitness gym.
Anytime Fitness has more than 3,000 gyms serving almost three million members on five continents. The company has gyms open in all 50 states.
New Venue, More Conference Opportunities Coming in 2016
The new building also has a tattoo room where franchisees, gym members and employees can ink themselves with the brand's iconic Runningman logo.
More than 3,000 Anytime Fitness franchisees, gym members and employees have the tattoo, according to an Anytime Fitness media release.
Celebrity tattoo artist Jimmy Hayden, whose client list includes NBA legends LeBron James and Shaquille O’Neal, will staff Anytime Fitness’ tattoo room during the grand opening. In addition, Anytime Fitness Member Success Story winner Mary Thoma, who lost more than 100 pounds and founded Wisconsin fitness and fundraising group Golden Girls, will get tattooed during the grand opening festivities. Fellow Golden Girl Cindy Keen, who shed more than half her bodyweight working out at Anytime Fitness, is also expected to get inked.

The St. Paul-based architectural firm BWBR, which designed the building, refers to the new Anytime Fitness headquarters as a "kinetic workspace." The building’s architectural, mechanical and electric systems qualify for the Xcel Energy Assets Program, which provides incentives for energy-efficient buildings.
"We’re in the business of improving lives," Dave Mortenson, president and co-founder, Anytime Fitness, said in a statement. "That starts with what we do right here at our headquarters and the lifestyle we promote on a daily basis. By building one of the fittest structures in America, we’re putting our money where our mission is."
The lobby and community spaces feature a view of the wetlands surrounding the headquarters.

Other features include indoor and outdoor fireplaces, two balconies and a large terrace. Here, Anytime Fitness corporate employees are enjoying a happy hour event on the terrace during their first afternoon at the new offices.
"We wanted a space that worked best for us. It’s like our sleep number for work," Runyon told the Minneapolis Star-Tribune. "With this building, we're betting on growth."
