Today, ABC Financial (ABC), the leading software and payment processing provider to the health and fitness industry, announced the promotion of Mac Madkins to the position of Vice President of Information Technology.
Prior to joining ABC Financial, Mac Madkins held a variety of positions in information assurance working for Entergy, PNM Resources, Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Arkansas Children's Hospital. Notable is his three years as a qualified Cyber Security Consultant at Arkansas Nuclear One, a nuclear power plant that generates power to much of the Mid-South, where he directed information quality assurance test and performed cyber security audits.
Mac Madkins earned his Bachelor's degree from Central Baptist College graduating Magna Cum Laude majoring in Organizational Management. He also holds current credentials as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). As ABC's Vice President of Information Technology, Madkins' provides the highest level of oversight and leadership for ABC's infrastructure management, system engineering, computer systems administration, operations, and support.
